Nature and Nurture Preschool is located in the owner’s home, with an entire floor dedicated to the preschool, as well as a large back yard and three-season room. Every aspect of the preschool was carefully designed with child development in mind. For example, the wall color in the main room calms the senses, while the bright pink of the soft-play room leads to excitement and active play. Open-ended materials in labeled bins allow for creativity and independence. Swings, weighted lap pads and sensory-stimulating toys encourage students to regulate their emotions and sensory needs.
